It’s often difficult to decide what, where and when you should create your image. There was a time when I remember flailing about like a headless chicken, spraying and praying that I’d get one image worthy of the location.
So I created a framework for my photography to help minimise distraction and to focus my mind on what I wanted to create. A framework that steers the creation of images that have intention and story.
My hope is, that by sharing this framework that I call the iCalm framework, that it might be of help to you in the creation of your images, if you’ve found yourself getting back home from a shoot thinking that you could have had better images, then try the iCalm framework next time you are out on a shoot.
Following this framework step-by-step will allow you to create the images you have always wanted, telling your story, your way.
