From Camera Basics to Bee Photography – Two-Part Course

£190.00

A two-part photography course combining a small-group beginners workshop with a private, specialist session focused on photographing bees.

Part 1: Master the Basics – Move Beyond Auto

Saturday 24th October | 12:00 noon
The Sale Hotel, Sale, Greater Manchester, M33 3NW
Duration: Approximately 2 hours

Two places are reserved for you on this small-group beginners photography workshop, designed to help you move beyond automatic settings and take greater control of your camera with confidence.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of camera control and, importantly, understand why you’re making those choices, giving you a stronger foundation to build on when photographing your own subjects.

Part 2: Private Bee Photography Session

Date: A separate date, arranged in advance
Timing: To take place at least one week after Part 1
Duration: Approximately 2 hours
Format: Private session for the two of you

Following the beginners workshop, you’ll have a private session focussed specifically on photographing bees and other flying insects with your Panasonic S5.

Building on the knowledge gained in Part 1 you’ll learn how to implement the camera settings, techniques and practical tips needed to capture sharp, well-exposed images of bees, both in flight and when stationary.

The date for this session will be arranged directly with you.

Your Two-Part Course Includes

  • Two places on the Master the Basics, Move Beyond Auto beginners photography workshop

  • A private Learn to Photograph Bees session for the two of you

  • A progression from fundamental camera control to specialist bee photography

  • Practical guidance tailored to your Panasonic S5

  • The opportunity to practise and absorb what you learn in Part 1 before applying it specifically to bee photography
