With over 40 images created through 3 years within the Peak District National Park, this collection brings together the images that shaped me as a landscape photographer. Let me tell you the story of how I got started, a few of the many mistakes I made and the biggest landscape photography lesson I’ve learnt.
This collection showcases the natural wonders of the Peak District captured between 2019-22; it's also the story of how I fell in love with landscape photography. From the first day I ventured into the Peak District for the first time with no aim other than photography and how it inspired a passionate pursuit over the following years.
I won't shy away from admitting that my early days in landscape photography were riddled with countless poorly composed frames and some terrible processing, I stumbled a lot. But each mistake was a valuable lesson in growth, shaping me into the landscape photographer I am today.
Through this collection, I've endeavored to weave my personal growth as a photographer into the narrative and flow of the images featured. Every photograph is a testament to the lessons I've learned along the way and the experiences I’ve encountered.
My hope is that these photographs whisper tales of perseverance, learning, exploration and boundless beauty. Whether you're a fellow photography enthusiast or simply someone who appreciates the allure of nature, allow this collection to ignite your sense of wanderlust and inspire your own photographic adventures.
Shoot locations for each image within the collection are listed towards the final page of the book.
